SOUND
This is not a making workshop but a playing one. Bringing in loads of musical gadgets
each child has the opportunity to play their instrument in front of their class.
The start of the workshop shows that all sounds are produced by something that wobbles
or vibrates.
How do sounds travel, what can they travel through, speed of sound etc
We start with playing musical bells and then drums and pipes. Playing simple tunes
and having competitions- name that tune.
There is a listening game about sound and the last item would be to have a musical
band song with a short performance. All great fun and very educational -
